VIEs (Volontariat International en Entreprise) are closely tied to Witekio's international Adventure. In fact, our expansion here has greatly relied on brilliant French engineers.
This popular program for young engineers seeking expatriation provides access to high-quality candidates that would otherwise be difficult for a small or medium-sized business to attract. It's also worth noting that the technical strength of our U.S. R&D site is built on former VIE's whom we later hired on local contracts-some have become local directors, while others have continued their careers in the Pacific Northwest with global tech leaders.
In short, the VIE program is a win-win for both companies and young professionals- in my view, an essential lever for establishing a presence abroad. »
