Dr. Erika WagnerUS Business Development Lead, The Exploration Company

Dr. Erika Wagner is the US Business Development Lead at The Exploration Company, a fast-growing space firm specializing in reusable space capsules and lunar landers. Previously, she spent over a decade at Blue Origin, leading go-to-market strategies for suborbital research, commercial space stations, and lunar technologies. She also played a key role at the X PRIZE Foundation and MIT’s Mars Gravity Biosatellite Program.

Actively engaged in the space community, Dr. Wagner serves on The National Academies’ Steering Committee for Mars Exploration and sits on the boards of The Museum of Flight and Aurelia Institute, focusing on STEM/STEAM engagement and innovation. She is also involved with the International Women’s Forum and Brooke Owens Fellowship.

With an interdisciplinary background in Biomedical and Aerospace Engineering, Dr. Wagner has studied at Vanderbilt, MIT, International Space University, and Harvard/MIT. A recognized leader in space research and innovation, she is a Fellow of the ASGSR and the Explorers Club and an Associate Fellow of AIAA.
