Roei is CEO of Alitheon®, whose FeaturePrint® technology provides for items what fingerprints are for people – a unique, persistent identifier, for any and every item. FeaturePrint serializes items with just a photo, enabling product tracing, eliminating counterfeits, shutting down gray markets, and reducing human error, all with just a photo using a standard camera – no stickers, markers, bar codes, or holograms. Prior to Alitheon, Roei was CEO of magniX, an electric aviation propulsion company. With a vision of connecting communities with low-cost, clean air transportation, magniX is disrupting aviation as we know it. Under Roei’s leadership, magniX developed industry leading propulsion systems, were the first in the world to fly multiple all-electric commercial aircraft, achieved world’s first FAA Special Conditions publication, and won a lucrative $75M NASA contract to develop a large scale 40-passenger electric aircraft. In addition to his magniX role, Roei also served as executive chairman of Eviation, the electric aircraft manufacturer bringing a newly designed all-electric aircraft to market. Roei was invited to testify in front of US Congress on the future of aviation and was recognized by Business Insider as one of ‘100 People Transforming Business’. Prior to magniX, Roei was CEO of BoldIQ - a provider of dynamic real-time scheduling optimization software. Under his leadership, BoldIQ grew from seed software startup to multi-million-dollar profitable SaaS company. Before BoldIQ, Roei was with the Boeing family of companies in continuously increasing roles of responsibility. His last role was Chief Customer Officer for Boeing’s Flight Services division where he led worldwide customer and market facing organizations and was responsible for revenue growth and customer service. Other experiences prior to Boeing include investment banking, corporate finance, advertising, and the military. Roei is a member of the Advisory Council at Georgia Tech’s School of Aerospace Engineering; and advises next generation aviation companies: Skyryse, Aibot, Universal Hydrogen, Cuberg, Magpie, and Dovetail. He is a graduate of Wharton’s Advanced Management Program, earned an MBA from the University of Washington, and a BA in Economics from The University of Haifa. Roei lives with his family in Redmond, Washington, USA.
