The aerospace supply chain has undergone significant strain over the past decade due to cost pressures, aggressive program ramp-ups, skills shortages resulting from the pandemic, escalating labor demands, and generational shifts. There will be no acceptable ramp up in the industry without quality and safety. This panel seeks to anticipate the evolving dynamics within the supply chain, as the industry gears up to transition toward new production approaches and initiate new programs in the early 2030s.

Of particular interest is the examination of how relationships between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the various tiers of the supply chain will evolve. This scrutiny becomes more pertinent as technological advancements facilitate more decentralized production and the establishment of a network of interconnected factories.

Our panelists will delve into this issue, exploring how the industry can navigate the challenges of production transition in the current decade. This directional shift involves shedding legacy programs, intensifying the integration of automation, and preparing for further transformations ahead of the next decade.
